Get back to work, you slacker!

Lookin good.

I make this look good.

That is the question I ask of you. Gearbox already announced earlier in the year that they are already planning on making a brand-new Duke Nukem Game, “Duke Begins”, from the ground up, rebooting our hero’s story and focusing on his origins of BADASSERY.

This is great-fucking news for…

Around a hundred years prior to Duke Nukem Forever, Duke’s grandfather was issued an arm-wrestling challenge by a six-eyed alien. Not wanting to back down to some alien scum, he accepted the challenge and the arm-wrestle went on for days. Eventually, the alien could not overpower his might and…

While the cover-Duke is a bit less (for lack of a better word) Duke than the one we’ve come to know and love; it’s like that on purpose. Randy Pitchford (Co-founder and President of Gearbox Software and the man who brought Duke back) said himself that they were trying to go with a Duke that was a bit softer and was more about someone portraying Duke as opposed to the real thing like an actor in a big Hollywood movie. So, think twice before you throw douche around? (Especially when both pieces of art are from the same revitalization campaign.)
